POD - Split With Label

Posted By: Chris | Posted: Mon 14 Aug 2006 5:39pm GMT

Despite selling squillions of albums (that's 7 million to you and me) back in the day. Ethnically influenced nu-metallers P.O.D. have split with their label, Atlantic Records, probably due to their last two albums being relative flops.

The band soldier on however and had the following to say regarding the split:

"We've been proud to be Atlantic recording artists, but its not the same place anymore, for most of our stay, we were blessed by a staff that was gracious towards their vision, faith, and love of music... It's time to dream again with a new staff and we leave with grateful hearts."

God knows why... it's equally as bad as the original.

Hear it here.
